With Endless Gratitude...

With endless gratitude to my parents and Hashem, I was given this opportunity to intern and travel in Israel for 6 months. It is the first time that I have left home for an extended period of time and lived with roommates from around the world. It has been a privilege and blessing that I will never forget and always keep close to my heart and soul.

Israel is a country that I have always been connected to. I always think about the next time I will be in Israel and G-d willing, I won't have to when this beautiful state becomes my home. And the rest follow.

When I tell people my story of packing up for 6 months and leaving to Israel by myself, with a program where I am the only South African - I usually receive the same response of "Wow you're really brave!", but truth is when there is something you really want, the magnitude of it doesn't phase you. It just feels right
